Join us on the 13th and 14th of March 2027 for our biggest annual event, the ABWAK symposium, hosted this year by Valley Wildlife, a small family-owned zoo, operating within the grounds of Gulliver’s Valley Theme Park, Sheffield.

Our flagship event returns with another packed agenda from industry leading presenters sharing their expertise at the UK and Irelands largest zookeeping event. The weekend will feature a range of workshops, alongside expert discussion panels.

Please note that your symposium ticket is for the event and its contents, evening event (13th March) and complementary entry to the zoo and ride access. This is a two-day event, however, accommodation must be booked separately.

What to expect?

 

A packed agenda, hand-selected from industry leading presenters who will be sharing their expertise on a wide range of topics and taxa.

 

All delegates will have the opportunity to select workshop preferences during the booking process. We will do our best to accommodate your choices, however some workshops have limited availability.

Speakers

 

All confirmed speakers may attend the full day of their presentation free of charge, however those wishing to attend the second day must purchase a speaker ticket.
