Join us on the 28th February and 1st March 2026 for our biggest annual event, the ABWAK Symposium, hosted this year at Drayton Manor Resort!

 

Our flagship event returns with another packed agenda from industry leading presenters sharing their expertise at the UK and Irelands largest zookeeping event. Our practical workshops will also be making a return, alongside a guided tour of Drayton Manor Zoo.

 

With talks and topics ranging across all taxa – there is something for everyone at the ABWAK Symposium.

Ticket Prices

ABWAK members are eligible to purchase our discounted early bird rate of just £80 – but be quick, as only 100 are up for grabs! After these have gone, ABWAK members can purchase their tickets for £95, BIAZA members £120 and non-members £160.

EVENING DINNER - Optional Extra

 

We will also be holding an optional evening dinner, followed by DJ and dancefloor. Evening tickets are £50, with spaces strictly limited.

What to expect?

 

A packed agenda, hand-selected from industry leading presenters who will be sharing their expertise on a wide range of topics and taxa.

All delegates will have the opportunity to select workshop preferences during the booking process. We will do our best to accommodate your choices, however some workshops have limited availability.

Please note that your symposium ticket is for the event and its contents only, and includes lunch and refreshments (tickets do not include complementary entry to the zoo or theme park).

 

This is a two-day event, however, accommodation and the optional evening event must be booked separately.

 

Speakers

 

All confirmed speakers may attend the full day of their presentation free of charge, however those wishing to attend the second day must purchase a speaker ticket.
