ABWAK is proud to host a one-day workshop dedicated to the care and management of tapirs in captivity, at Noah's Ark Zoo Farm.

This CPD event is tailored for animal keepers, students involved in the care of tapirs, offering a unique opportunity to develop specialist husbandry knowledge. The day will have talks on key areas of tapir care, including hoof care, enrichment, and conservation. With input from experienced tapir keepers and conservationist, attendees will gain valuable insights into daily management routines, breeding program and the conservation work for tapirs.

Whether you work with tapirs or are preparing to introduce the species to your collection—this workshop is for you. It’s a great opportunity to network with fellow professionals, ask questions, and share experiences in a supportive and engaging environment
