The ABWAK Hoof Trimming workshop in Partnership with Peak Wildlife Park and SD Hoof Trimming Zookeeper, is an excellent opportunity for those working with hoof stock to improve their hoof trimming skills.

 

During this one-day workshop you will get to learn from Professionally Trained Hoof Trimmer, Zoological Consultant, RoMs accredited lameness assessor, Dutch Diploma holder - Sioned Mai Davies-Grimshaw. You’ll learn the theory behind hoof trimming, and have the opportunity to ask questions, before putting your skills to the test on cadavers. If you are new to hoof trimming of looking to improve your existing skills this is the perfect opportunity to learn how to properly hoof trim, and correct mild defects.

This workshop is open to all keepers working with hoof stock.

This Price includes provision of hoof trimming shears to use during the course and take away at the end.
