Send your application to: Richard Barnett, ABWAK Treasurer, c/o NEZS Chester Zoo or email: R.Barnett@chesterzoo.org

Please note a panel of ABWAK Council will assess applications & their decision is final. CLOSING DATE: 30th June 2009.

  • ABWAK is delighted to announce the launch of the new-look version of Ratel.  The Association’s journal has been completely redesigned thanks to sponsorship from Twycross Zoo.  Ratel is free to ABWAK members and will continue to feature articles on a range of zoo-keeping topics, highlight forthcoming events as well as providing other useful information.  The refreshed Ratel is part of a larger rebranding process ABWAK is currently undertaking to reflect itself as a modern, professional organisation.  ABWAK’s rebrand is part of a three year strategy that has also involved the creation of a new logo and website. “I am very pleased with the redesign of Ratel and so far lots of positive feedback has been received.  We are always looking for written contributions and urge all ABWAK supporters to send in their articles”, said Ratel Editor Stephen Woollard.
