Membership of ABWAK says a lot about your professional approach to your subject.
It also offers you many benefits, including:

  • Free quarterly journal - RATEL - containing articles, letters and other information necessary to keep you informed and up-to-date on matters relating to wild animals.
  • Free zoo admission, where applicable and subject to conditions. This may not be as extensive as the Professional membership.
  • Opportunities to attend regular Association symposia at a reduced rate.
  • Opportunities to attend regular ABWAK events and social functions.

MEMBERSHIP SUBSCRIPTION

 

FULL Membership

Full membership of the Association is only available to those wild animal keepers (i.e. Professional or Private wild animal keepers) over the age of 16 years. Only Full members have voting rights.

Annual Subscription £22.00 each person
Overseas Members £40.00 each person

FULL JOINT MEMBERSHIP

Where two members reside together, a single, reduced annual subscription rate of £40.00(covering both persons)is payable. Only one membership card will be issued and only one copy of each RATEL will be sent.

ASSOCIATE membership

The members Associate membership is available to those who have a genuine interest in wild animal keeping but who are not employed in such a role. Associates have no voting rights. Under 16 years of age my join as Associate members.

PLEASE NOTE* :

Subscriptions to ABWAK are tax deductible for all professional animal keepers, and also for those whose employment is related to the objects of the Association. All subscriptions are due 1st January membership runs from 1 Jan - 31 Dec inclusive.

All applications for membership must be made on the form (or a photocopy of same) and sent with the appropriate subscription to the Membership Secretary (address on form and below).

*Membership of the Association is at the discretion of
the Executive Committee and this Committee reserves
the right to refuse membership.


Cheques and postal orders should be made payable to 'ABWAK' and payable in Sterling . Please print your name and membership number on the back of cheque (for renewals) and send to the address below.
